Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) is an annual international Olympiad competition jointly organized by OCEC from Hong Kong and Thailand Mathematics Society. TIMO is a platform to stimulate and foster young people’s interest in learning mathematics, to strengthen the ability of their creative thinking, to widen their international perspective, and to promote the development of primary and secondary education and the exchange of educational cultures throughout countries/ regions. This year, TIMO committee members invited 14 regions/countries such as Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Ukraine, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Taiwan, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia to participate.
TIMO Heat Round and TIMO Final are open to all Grade 1 to 12 (Primary 1 to A-Levels/IB) Singapore students.
All Singaporean students who have won Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Awards in TIMO Heat Round 2025 or AMCC10/12 Y2024 will be invited to compete in TIMO Final 2025.

*If the same score occurs, the winner’s date of birth will be considered. The younger winner will be ranked higher.
**Participants MUST achieve Gold/ Silver/ Bronze for TIMO Heat in the following year, to qualify for the Free Ticket to TIMO Final.
***Only Offline Participants will receive a Trophy.
LEGEND AWARD
TOP Achievers who won 3 GOLD AWARDS in TIMO Final, Big Bay Bei Final & HKIMO Final in the Year 2024-2025 (at least ONE ONSITE GOLD(s) is required) will be awarded the Legend Award. This crystal trophy is to commemorate and encourage outstanding students.
We will send the Invitation & Info Pack to the teacher in charge at school or to you if you are participating as an individual candidate.
Alternatively, you may fill out the Form and we will send the Invitation to qualified students
All Big Bay Bei, HKIMO, or TIMO Final Gold Award Winners are invited to attend the World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO), fully sponsored by the WIMO Foundation. ALL WIMO participants will get the opportunity to attend a 10-hour intensive training course and learn from IMO Trainers.
WIMO is open to all Singaporean students who have achieved a TWO Gold Awards (starting next calendar year 2023/24) in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei), Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad Final (TIMO Final) or Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad Final (HKIMO Final).
