Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) is an annual international Olympiad competition organized by Olympiad Education from Hong Kong and is developed by a team of former IMO winners from Hong Kong. HKIMO aims to create a platform for ALL math enthusiasts around the world to come together for an educational and cultural exchange. The objectives of HKIMO is to foster students’ interest in Mathematical Olympiad and to promote Mathematical Olympiad all over the world. This year, HKIMO committee members invited 21 regions / countries such as Indonesia, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Myanmar, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, India, Australia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, China, Iran, Sri Lanka, Laos and Dhaka Bangladesh to participate.
HKIMO Heat Round and HKIMO Final are open to all Grade 1 to 12 (Primary 1 to A-Levels/IB) students studying in Singapore
All students who have won Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Award in HKIMO Heat Round will be invited to compete in HKIMO Final. Contest entry is available on a first come first served basis, so register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

All students who have won 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱/ 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿/ 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗲 Award in HKIMO Heat Round or TIMO 2025 or Big Bay Contest 2025 will be invited to compete in HKIMO Final. Please join as soon as possible as places are limited.

If the same score occurs, the winner’s date of birth will be considered. The younger winner will be ranked higher.
Participants MUST achieve Gold/ Silver/ Bronze for HKIMO Heat in the following year, in order to qualify for HKIMO Final.
Only Offline Participants will receive a Trophy.
TOP Achievers who won 3 GOLD AWARDS in TIMO Final, Big Bay Bei Final & HKIMO Final in the Year 2024-25 (at least ONE ONSITE GOLD(s) is required) will be awarded the Legend Award. This crystal trophy is to commemorate and encourage outstanding students.
All HKIMO or TIMO Final Gold Award Winners are invited to attend the World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO), fully sponsored by the WIMO Foundation. ALL WIMO participants will get the opportunity to attend a 10-hour intensive training course and learn from IMO Trainers.
WIMO is open to all students studying in an institution in Singapore who have achieved TWO Gold Awards (starting next calendar year 2024/25) in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei), Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad Final (TIMO Final) or Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad Final (HKIMO Final).
